PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As a Developer on the SAP Concur Spend development team in Vancouver, Canada, you will be responsible for product features used by millions of people around the world. The Vancouver team's focus is on Expense administration. The product is extremely flexible, so an excellent administration experience is critical for streamlining configuration and accelerating deployment. This allows customers to extract value quickly, while supporting compliance and ensuring a satisfying end-user experience. We work in a fast-paced, iterative agile environment; and we operate with an eagerness to push to production.
EXPECTATION AND TASKS

• Work in a modern cloud engineering environment of continuous delivery and micro-services
• Be responsible for the end-to-end stability and operation of the team's services, including on call duties and incident management and resolution
• Troubleshoot performance and stability issues with a passion that shows respect to the millions of users who rely on our software
• Work closely with product management and user experience, from product discovery through to delivery and maintenance
• Continuously grow yourself in both technical and teamwork skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related technical field
• Ability to work well in a team as well as independently, have a positive, self-motivated, can-do attitude
• Good people skills

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid programming skills in Java (or similar OO language)
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP, etc) and container orchestration systems (i.e. Kubernetes) is a plus
• Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and principles of OO design
• Working knowledge of at least one modern Javascript user interface framework (i.e. React / Redux)
• Evidence of excellence in some capacity

Compensation Range Transparency: SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 71,000 - 150,800 USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
